VALLEY OF THE GIANTS CELEBRATES NAIDOC WEEK
For the first week of the school holidays (Monday 5 to Friday 9 July), the Valley of the Giants will be running a few activities for NAIDOC Week. NAIDOC Week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people. Activities are as follows:
SIX SEASONS WALK
· Monday 5 July only
· 2pm and 3.30pm for one hour each
· Maximum 24 people each session
· This activity will be FREE, however booking is essential through the VOG.
COLOURING-IN COMPETITION
· Monday 5 to Friday 9 July
· Colouring-in will occur in the classroom at the VOG
· Entry forms can also be distributed from the Walpole-Nornalup and Denmark visitor centres.
· The competition will close at COB Friday 9 July
· Winners will be chosen from three age categories and contacted by phone
· Winners from each age group will get a Tree Top Walk hoodie, and runners-up will get a Valley of the Giants cap.

· Hand-painting activity in the classroom at the VOG
· Take-home activity sheets provided
